The Gasparilla is more than a 54-hole championship. The week begins Monday, when a qualifying round settles the final places in the field, and carries through two days of practice, two rounds of championship play, and a Saturday evening that closes with the naming of a champion. What follows is arranged by day — the times, the rounds, and what to expect at each point in the week.

Monday, February 15

Qualifying

For those who haven't yet secured a place in the field, Monday's qualifying round decides what's left of it.

9:00 AMQualifying round, shotgun start.
EveningDivot Party, hosted for the membership.

Members, contestants and their guests are welcome to walk the qualifying round.

Tuesday, February 16

Practice Round

Tuesday is an optional practice round for players looking for an extra day on the course before Wednesday.

12:00 PMRegistration and the practice facility open for players.
1:30 PMOptional practice round, shotgun start.
Wednesday, February 17

Practice Round

Wednesday is the field's official practice round, with the course closed exclusively to contestants before championship play begins.

All DayPractice rounds, open to players only.

Members, contestants and their guests are welcome to walk.

Thursday, February 18

Round One

Championship play begins, with the full field on the course across two shotgun starts.

6:30 – 9:00 AMComplimentary breakfast for contestants, 19th Hole.
8:00 AMMorning shotgun start.
11:30 AM – 2:00 PMComplimentary luncheon buffet for contestants, Bendelow's.
1:30 PMAfternoon shotgun start.
6:00 – 8:00 PMChairman's Reception, Bendelow's. Country Club Casual; contestants and spouses encouraged.

Members, contestants and their guests are welcome to follow play throughout the day.

Friday, February 19

Round Two

The second round of championship play, with the evening opening into the week's largest gathering.

6:30 – 9:00 AMComplimentary breakfast for contestants, 19th Hole.
8:00 AMMorning shotgun start.
11:30 AM – 2:00 PMComplimentary luncheon buffet for contestants, Bendelow's.
1:30 PMAfternoon shotgun start.
EveningCocktail party with live music, following the conclusion of play. Country Club Casual; contestants and spouses welcome.

Members, contestants and their guests are welcome to follow play throughout the day.

Saturday, February 20

Final Round & Champions Celebration

With the field cut after 36 holes, Saturday's final round moves from shotgun starts to individual tee times off the 1st and 10th.

8:00 – 11:30 AMComplimentary brunch buffet for contestants, Bendelow's.
10:00 AM – 12:00 PMTee times, off the 1st and 10th tees.
12:00 PMHospitality stations open around the course, for members, contestants, and their guests.
